Snorkeling with sea-lions...again by Adam

Hello! This is Adam Sysol . I am going to tell you about my second trip to the sea-lions. We motored our boat Antipodes over to an island near La Paz called Isla Partida where we went out on our dinghy to another island called Los Islotes where we found sea-lions. We knew we would find them there so we had all our snorkel gear because we had already been there without my sister.

Even before we got in the crystal-clear water we saw the sea-lions. Click the following link for a video of the entire adventure, this video might take a long time to load so be patient.  Sea Lion Video

We saw ten million fish down under the sea. More than was shown in Finding Nemo. The sea-lions were cute and nibbled on my dad's camera underwater and one even got on our dinghy!

The sea-lion started jumping onto the boat after sitting on Allie's fins. The sea-lion that accosted us was super sleek and let us touch it for a brief second. The snorkeling was fun, but we needed to go back to the boat.

Later we left and found an arch that we went through...Crazily! The arch was narrow and on the other side we saw acrobatic manta-rays that were jumping straight up and doing double backflips in the air. The stone arch was incredible and the view was amazing.  Watch the video to see us going through.

I miss all my friends, including Kylie, Braden, Mallory, Ethan, the twins, Makimo, Najee, Ilijia, Tea and everyone else .That is all for my blog this week. Bye!

How was that swimming with sea lions? Were they friendly right away? Do they have interaction with other humans or are they just friendly like that?
Merry Christmas!
Our snow is all gone...it's 65 today!
